The Most Expensive Coffee

Kopi Luwak, the world’s most expensive coffee, earns its pricey value and taste thanks to a surprising step in its production: digestion. In Indonesia, the Asian palm civet (a small critter similar to the weasel) cannot resist the bright red coffee berries that abound, even though they can’t digest the actual coffee beans.

Coffee for the brain?

Just smelling coffee can help wake you up!  A group of scientist reported that simply smelling the wonderful aroma of coffee can alter the activity of some genes in the brain, thus reducing the effects of sleep deprivation!
